The Library Garden - a California Natives Garden

In 2016 we planted a California native garden that has flourished and is maintained by a team of volunteers who tend the plants on a semi-monthly basis. It is a space that encourages community gathering through volunteer activities; creates an intimate garden space for people to spend time together; and highlights the ecological and experimental potential of the Bulb.

Garden Workdays are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month.

Please consider joining us - no previous gardening experience required!

Each year we have held annual planting events to bring together the community to celebrate the garden, and establish new plants to expand the space. We currently have over 50 different species of CA native plants growing in the garden!
